You’ve probably played tons of endless runners by now. Otherwise you’re a caveman or reading this blog from jungles. Or you stuck with old mobile phones….Anyway, what’s the most common feature we have in endless runners? Yeah, player runs by himself. But what endless runners lack? Anyone? They lack what Step by Step game has!

You’re a little girl who is minding her business (walking diagonally) trying to avoid falling into the void.
Then a freaking JASON appears out of freaking nowhere!

The biggest point in this game is that you must walk diagonally while trying not to fall into the void while you get pressured by Jason. Each tile walked will grant you a score.
As I mentioned before, this game has something other endless runners don’t – strategy. You see you’re running away from Jason while you must also walk the right tile in order to avoid falling and losing. Being slow is also has consequences. In other games all you do is: 1) You see an obstacle? 2) Swipe/tap to dodge it.
There are power-ups along the way, which allow you to see which path is safest which is pretty cool if you ask me!
I also liked a feature where you could share your gameplay with others. And the coolest part is that you don’t need to start recording at the beginning. Everything happens automatically!
Overall, I would rate this game 5/5 for it’s cute graphics, creative mechanics and Jason.
